A. NH3
B. Br+
C. H+
D. BF3
¨ NH3 is not an electrophile as it is a nucleophile due to the presence of a lone pair of electrons on the nitrogen atom. Electrophiles are electron-deficient species that can accept a pair of electrons during a chemical reaction. In contrast, nucleophiles are electron-rich species that can donate a pair of electrons. Br+, H+, and BF3 are all electrophiles.
